I love this song but it gives me bad memories because I remember listening to this right before some dude decided to break into our house. That was terrifying for me so this song plays a part in my fears. I love it so much though. Today, I decided to face my fears and listen to it. This song reminds me of driving home from the mental hospital last year. Even though I didn't know this song existed back then, the line "I could take the high road, but I know that I'm going low" reminds me of it. I knew that my family expected me to be okay again after I got out. But I wasn't. I "went low". The next few months were the worst of my life.
